Enhancement on basic pay for Sundays and public holidays (00:00–24:00).
Unsocial hours (Bands 1–3)+35% to +94%
NI follows the England unsocial-hours table exactly.
Overtime (Bands 1–7)150%
Time and a half above 37.5 hrs/week; double time on public holidays.
Notes
- •NHS Northern Ireland rates come from circular HSC (AfC) 06/2025 — effective 1 April 2025 (+3.6%). This is the latest confirmed NI scale; the 2026/27 award is not yet issued.
- •No High Cost Area Supplement applies in NI. Unsocial-hours enhancements follow the England table exactly.
- •Standard full-time week = 37.5 hours; hourly = annual ÷ 52.143 ÷ 37.5. All figures in GBP.
