Notes
- •Aged-care classification structure under the Nurses Award 2020, effective 1 July 2026. Covers ENs, RNs and NPs working in aged care.
- •The 1 August 2026 column is the final Aged Care Work Value tranche (FWC determination PR812118, issued 15 July 2026). It varies EN and RN rates only — Student EN and Nurse Practitioner rates are unchanged and simply carry forward. The new rates apply from the start of the first full pay period on or after 1 August 2026.
- •AINs and personal care workers in residential aged care are covered by the Aged Care Award 2010 instead — see the Aged Care Workers page.
- •Excludes registered nurse level 5 grades 5–6 (pre-1 March 2025 translators) — use the FWO Pay & Conditions Tool.
- •Weekly rates shown are the ordinary (base) rate; hourly/annual derived from a 38-hour week.
- •Penalties and allowances match the Other-than-Aged-Care structure above.
