Notes
- •Covers registered and enrolled nurses, personal care workers and lifestyle staff at Regis Aged Care's residential homes in Victoria (cl 7.1). Support services roles (kitchen, cleaning, laundry, admin, maintenance) are covered by the agreement but not shown here.
- •From the first full pay period on or after 1 October 2025, these rates include the Government-funded aged care work-value increase that Regis passes on under cl 22.3. The agreement's own Appendix 1 table doesn't print it. Each figure is the table rate plus the Department of Health's published amount for the matching award classification (October 2025 for everyone, plus August 2026 for nurses), with the September 2026 3% rise applied on top, as cl 22.3.3 sets out. The 1 January and 1 September 2025 columns are Appendix 1 as printed.
- •From 1 July 2026, where the Aged Care Award or Nurses Award rate for the matching classification is higher, it is shown instead, because pay can't go below the award.
- •If your payslip shows a different base rate, go by your payslip. The work-value amounts haven't yet been compared with a Regis payslip.
- •Each rate applies from the first full pay period on or after the date shown. The agreement started operating on 8 September 2025. The 1 January 2025 column is printed in Appendix 1 but falls before that date.
- •Registered nurses who complete a relevant qualification get the qualification allowance from the fortnight after they give Regis the evidence. It is paid on ordinary hours and on paid leave, except personal leave beyond 21 days and long service leave (cl 27.2).
- •Recalled to work after leaving the premises: a minimum of 4 hours at overtime rates each time (cl 18.4). Less than 10 hours off between shifts on Regis's instruction is paid at double time until you're released (cl 18.6(c)).
- •Overtime is any time beyond your rostered hours, or over 76 hours a fortnight. Part-time care and lifestyle staff and casuals get overtime after 10 hours on a shift or day (cl 18.1(b)). Minimum engagement is 3 hours (cl 12.5(f), 12.6(c)).
- •A public holiday that falls on a full-timer's rostered day off pays a day's pay for registered nurses and one and a half days' pay for enrolled nurses and care staff (cl 34.4). Public holidays follow the Victorian calendar, including the Friday before the AFL Grand Final and Melbourne Cup Day or your local substitute day (cl 34.1).
- •Annual leave is 5 weeks for nurses and care staff, and 6 weeks for those who meet the agreement's weekend and shift tests. Leave loading is 17.5%, or for shift workers the weekend and shift penalties they would have earned if that is higher (cl 29.2, 29.6, 29.10).
- •The agreement reaches its nominal expiry on 1 July 2027 and keeps applying until it is replaced. It prints no rise after September 2026.
