Notes

  • •Covers registered nurses, enrolled nurses and personal care assistants at Regis Aged Care's residential aged care homes in South Australia. Support services staff (kitchen, cleaning, laundry, administration and maintenance) and the City of West Torrens / St Martins legacy groups are not shown.
  • •The agreement's own pay table sits below the award, so pay follows the award rate (cl 25(b)). Rates shown are the award level you're paid at: personal care assistants on the Aged Care Award 2010 direct care levels, and enrolled and registered nurses on the Nurses Award 2020 aged care rates. Penalties, overtime, allowances, on-call and public holidays follow the agreement.
  • •The agreement prints dollar rates only from the first full pay period on or after 1 January 2025; its later increases are formulas. Regis's own formula can put a few senior registered nurse steps a little above the award rate, so check your payslip if you're a senior RN.
  • •Rates apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026. The 1 August 2026 column is the final aged care work value increase for enrolled and registered nurses (FWC determination PR812118), from the first full pay period on or after 1 August 2026. Personal care assistant rates carry forward unchanged.
  • •Public holidays are paid at 200%, below the award's rate, because the agreement sets its own. Casuals get 250% instead of the loading. Public holidays follow the South Australian calendar, including the Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve evenings from 7:00pm.
  • •The agreement's own allowances rise from the first full pay period on or after 1 February 2025 and 1 February 2026. Uniform, laundry and overtime meals are paid at the Aged Care Award amount, shown from the award's 1 July 2026 figures. Every allowance is paid only when you qualify for it.
  • •Part-time and casual personal care assistants get a shift penalty only when the shift starts before 6:00am or finishes after 6:00pm (cl 23(b)(i)). Nurses get one on every qualifying shift.
  • •Overtime starts after 76 ordinary hours a fortnight, beyond your rostered hours on a shift, or after 10 hours on a shift for part-timers and casuals. Every shift is at least 3 hours (cl 20, 22).
  • •Annual leave is 5 weeks, or 6 weeks for shift workers. Leave loading is 17.5%, or for shift workers the weekend and shift penalties they would have earned if higher (cl 29(a), 29(d)).
  • •The agreement reaches its nominal expiry on 1 February 2027. It keeps applying after that date until it is replaced or terminated (cl 7).
