Notes
- •Covers registered and enrolled nurses, personal care workers and leisure and lifestyle staff at Regis Aged Care's residential homes in Tasmania (cl 3). Support services roles are covered by the agreement but not shown here.
- •From the first full pay period on or after 1 August 2026, nurses' rates include the Government-funded aged care work-value increase that Regis passes on under cl 19(c). The agreement's own Annexure B table doesn't print it. Each nurse figure is the table rate plus the Department of Health's published amount for the matching Nurses Award classification, with the January 2027 and January 2028 3% rises applied to the uplifted rate. Earlier work-value increases are already in the January 2026 rates, so care and lifestyle staff have no August 2026 step.
- •From 1 July 2026, where the Aged Care Award or Nurses Award rate for the agreement's printed award classification is higher, it is shown instead, because pay can't go below the award.
- •If your payslip shows a different base rate, go by your payslip. The work-value amounts haven't yet been compared with a Regis payslip.
- •Each rate applies from the first full pay period on or after the date shown. The agreement started operating on 22 July 2026. The 1 January 2026 column is its first printed tier and is also used for earlier dates, because the 2023 agreement's rates aren't held.
- •Full-time nurses get 5 weeks' annual leave and care and lifestyle staff 4 weeks, or 6 and 5 weeks for shift workers who meet the agreement's tests. Leave loading is 17.5%, or for shift workers the weekend and shift penalties they would have earned if that is higher (cl 22).
- •Overtime is time beyond your rostered hours or 76 hours a fortnight. Ordinary shifts are up to 8 hours, or 10 by agreement and on night shift. Minimum engagement is 3 hours (cl 13, 17). Uniforms are supplied, so there is no uniform allowance (cl 21(a)).
- •Work on a substitute day that isn't the gazetted public holiday is paid at the ordinary rate (cl 35(b)(iii)). A public holiday on a full-timer's rostered day off pays a day's pay (cl 35(d)).
- •The agreement reaches its nominal expiry on 1 September 2028 and keeps applying until it is replaced.
