Notes

  • •Covers registered nurses, enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing at Regis Aged Care's residential aged care homes in Queensland (cl 4). Retirement villages, home care and day therapy staff are not covered.
  • •The agreement's own pay table sits below the award, so pay follows the award rate (cl 25(c)). Rates shown are the award level you're paid at: assistants in nursing on the Aged Care Award 2010 direct care levels, and enrolled and registered nurses on the Nurses Award 2020 aged care rates. Penalties, overtime, allowances and public holidays follow the agreement.
  • •Rates apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026. The 1 August 2026 column is the final aged care work value increase for enrolled and registered nurses (FWC determination PR812118), from the first full pay period on or after 1 August 2026. Assistant in nursing rates carry forward unchanged.
  • •Public holidays are paid at 200%, below the award's rate, because the agreement sets its own. Casuals get 250% instead of the loading. Staff who transferred from Masonic Care Queensland between 1 June and 1 August 2016 are paid 250% for ordinary hours on a public holiday (Schedule 2 cl 2.2 item 4).
  • •Public holidays follow the Queensland calendar, including your local show day and Christmas Eve from 6:00pm.
  • •Allowances are the last figures printed in the agreement, from the first full pay period on or after 1 October 2023. Laundry is paid for every shift worked, with no weekly cap. Every allowance is paid only when you qualify for it.
  • •The agreement names an on-call allowance and a vehicle allowance but prints no amount for either, so neither is shown here (cl 28.3, 28.4).
  • •Overtime starts after an average of 76 ordinary hours a fortnight, beyond your rostered hours on a shift, or after 10 hours on a shift for casuals. Every shift is at least 3 hours. Full-timers can work 152 hours over 4 weeks to earn an accrued day off (cl 19.6, 21.1).
  • •Annual leave is 5 weeks, or 6 weeks for shift workers regularly rostered over seven days who regularly work weekends. Leave loading is 17.5%, or for shift workers the weekend and shift penalties they would have earned if higher (cl 29.1, 29.3).
  • •The agreement reached its nominal expiry on 30 June 2024. It keeps applying until it is replaced or terminated (cl 7).
