Your saved overtime Templates show at the top of the form. You won't have any yet.
Step 7: Check the start.
Start is the day you tapped, at 3:30 pm. In this example, the shift ended at 3:30 pm, so we kept it.

Good to know
- Enter only the extra time. Your rostered shift stays as it is; overtime is a separate entry on the same day.
- A double shift (going straight on from your shift) works the same way: add overtime that starts when your shift ends.
- If End is earlier than Start, the overtime finished the next morning. The same Start and End time counts as a full 24 hours.
- Auto OT Break: no break up to 5 hours, 30 minutes over 5 hours, and 1 hour over 10 hours. Turn on Custom OT Break Override to set your own; pick 0h 0m if you didn't get one.
- Location and Role Tag under Details are optional. A blank location doesn't show on the roster.
- Repeat › Add Multiple Overtime Entries adds the same overtime on several days. Unlike shifts, it doesn't skip days that already have a shift.
- The Allowances card shows your job's own overtime options, plus any Custom Allowances you set up in Settings. Switch on only what was paid.
- Your saved overtime templates are under Templates at the top of the Overtime form. Tap the pencil on a template to change it, or the bin to delete it. A template needs a name before it saves.
- Quick Add's Overtime tab needs a saved overtime template first ("No overtime templates yet").
- Several entries on one day? The pencil and trash ask which one you mean. Deleting overtime can't be undone.
- Touch and hold a day for Edit and Delete of its overtime. To add overtime, use + › Add Manually › Overtime.
- Select Multiple Shifts (touch and hold the pencil or trash): bulk edit leaves overtime out; bulk delete includes it.
- Called back in while on call? Add it on the on-call entry instead.
- Your award or employer decides overtime rates, when overtime applies and whether a meal is paid. You can ask AskAI what your award says.
- The dates, shifts and pay in this tutorial are an example.
